This winter, 16 castaways will be stranded in the Seychelle Islands. Located off of the Eastern coast of Africa, the country has a population of around 84,000 and has roughly 115 different islands in the archipelago. The islands where the two tribes will be are located in the St. Francis Atoll and are St. Francois island and Bijoutier Island. The Moyenne Tribe will set up camp on St. Francois while the Cocos Tribe will set up camp on Bijoutier Island. Environmental legislation is very strict on the Seychelles and thusly the castaways will be limited to what they can do with the wildlife. But among the wildlife they will encounter are sea tortoises, praslins and seabirds, having one of the largest seabird colonies in the entire world. The castaways certainly won't have it easy: they are going to the Seychelles during monsoon season and will experience some of the 90 inches of rain that the islands receive yearly. They will have to battle many things on the islands during their 39 days, but only one will survive to claim the million dollar prize. Will it be you? Enjoy traveling on SURVIVORair
